After the overwhelming success of our Cinderella Relaxed Performance this year we are introducing two relaxed performances for Aladdin on Friday 8th December and Thursday 14th December at 11am.
Relaxed Performances are specifically designed to welcome those who would benefit from a modified theatre experience. These performances are targeted to parents with babies and pre-school children and anyone with an Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory and communication disorder, or a learning disability.
There will be a relaxed attitude to noise and movement and some small changes made to the light and sound effects.
Therefore, we wouldn’t use any;
* strobe lighting
* Pyro technics
* loud bangs
The auditorium lights will be up at 25% and the overall sound is brought down by 25%.
Some people could benefit from visiting backstage before the performance if they have any fears or worries with regards to watching the show.
Please let our box office or front of house staff know if you feel this would be helpful.
