Variety is what makes the New Theatre Royal Lincoln so unique and with 140 shows and over 280 performances a year it is as busy as it’s ever been.

The award winning, 125-year-old Theatre has welcomed over 100,000 people to enjoy the very best live shows in the last 24 months. The programme continues to appeal to all ages and tastes with Plays, Musicals, Comedy Nights and Evenings With to Dance Acts, Family and Children’s Shows. Not forgetting live streaming of Opera and Ballet from London’s Royal Opera House and films with ‘Movies at the Royal.

Highlights this Autumn/Winter include an emphasis on comedy with Joe Pasquale, Cannon and Ball and a sketch show dedicated to Morecambe and Wise called An Evening Eric and Little Ern. Thrill seekers will feel the immense power and thunderous rhythms of Emerald Storm, an Irish dance troop with a difference and Sir Michael Parkinson brings memoirs of his former presenting days to the stage. Young families will be spoilt for choice with an adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s Tabby McTat, Cbeebies Bing LIVE and early bird tickets for the Theatre’s own reworking of The Wizard of Oz for Easter 2019.

The Winter season peaks with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs staring Celebrity Big Brother, X Factor and West End starlet Amelia Lily and CBBC presenters Christopher Johnson and Barney Harwood promising lots of fun, frolics and memorable songs from the city’s most traditional Pantomime. Perfect for all ages, with relaxed and signed performances the show runs from December 4th, 2018 to January 6th, 2019.
