Coronavirus Statement

Dear patrons,

Our skeleton staff are pleased to announce that we have completed the mammoth task of attempting to contact all our ticket holders for shows that have been affected by the pandemic.

We have called, emailed, or written a letter to every customer using the contact details we have on our system. If you haven’t received confirmation from us, please check your voicemail on your phones and your junk mail on emails. If you have any further queries or questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at

Thank you all again for your patience and understanding. As previously mentioned, the theatre will remain closed to the public for the foreseeable future, but we look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre next spring.

Best wishes and stay safe,

The New Theatre Royal Family

Culture Recovery Fund

We are honoured and relieved to have been awarded funding as part of the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund, to help us face the challenge of the coronavirus pandemic and to give us the best chance of a sustainable future.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport and the Arts Council England for this funding. This is such exciting news for the theatre, all our patrons, and the entire arts and culture landscape in Lincolnshire.

Beauty and the Beast – Christmas Pantomime

After careful consideration, and taking into account the continued circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we have had to make the difficult decision to move our Christmas Pantomime ‘Beauty and the Beast’ to next year, 2021.

We are looking into the option of presenting an alternative production this festive season, and will keep you up to date if we have any developments.
