Lincoln’s Imp Trail
We are extremely proud to be a part of this year’s Lincoln Imp Trail, where we are sponsoring Harlequin the Imp.
Running from Saturday 3rd July – Wednesday 8th September, thirty Imps will be displayed across the city (with a further five roaming around local shops and businesses, and another located in Skegness – so keep an eye out if you’re heading to the beach!)
The Imp Trail is a mass participation public art event to celebrate Lincoln, its art, culture and heritage. And at the same time it’s helping to raise money for the brilliant St Barnabas Hospice.
This fun, family trail will be supported by an interactive, free to download app, leaflets, souvenirs, merchandise and more. For more information please visit the Lincoln Imp Trail website here.
Win Panto Tickets & Free Bus Travel
We have teamed up with the brilliant guys over at Stagecoach East Midlands to give one lucky family the chance to see our Christmas Pantomime, Beauty & the Beast, plus free bus travel to the show!
To be in with a chance of winning simply walk the Lincoln Imp Trail this summer and take photos of 10 Imps (including Stagecoach’s Past Echos Imp, and our Imp Harlequin) and send these to email@example.com.
Our favourite collection of photos will be selected as the winner and some of our favourites will be shared on social media.
Quick T&Cs – The competition ends on Wed 8th Sep (5pm). The pantomime family tickets are for five people (max. 2 adults) and are valid on morning & matinee performances between the following dates: Sat 11th Dec – Sun 19th Dec 2021 and Sun 2nd – Sat 8th Jan 2022. The bus family ticket is a ‘East Midlands Group Day Out Ticket’, which cover max. 2 adults and up to 3 children, and can be used all day on any Stagecoach service in the East Midlands. Must be used on the day of the performance. For full terms and conditions please visit Stagecoach’s website here.
Win a Pair of Tickets to a Show of Your Choice
Fancy winning a pair of tickets to a show of your choice? It’s simple, all you have to do is take a photo with our Imp, Harlequin, post it on social media, tag us, and use the hashtag #NTRimp so we can see your best poses.
A winner will then be chosen once the Imp Trail has ended. Good luck!
T&Cs: The competition ends on Wednesday 8th September. Tickets are subject to availability.
Just in case you haven’t already seen the cheeky chap on our social media channels, or around the city, here is Harlequin. Painted by the brilliant Melanie Clare, Harlequin dons the comedy and tragedy masks, synonymous with theatre, and has the words “All the world’s a stage” painted on the back of his plinth.
The Imp Unveiling Event
Not only have we sponsored an image, but we were incredibly proud to host the unveiling of the Imp design back in October 2019. There was such a buzz around the venue as the design was revealed in front of Lincolnshire business leaders and special guests.
As you may have seen on our social media channels, Harlequin visited us earlier in the year and had a great time! He met the Mayor and got up to some real mischief around our venue. He even had some friends over, the Past Echos Imp (sponsored by Stagecoach) and the Entertainment Imp (sponsored by Bottomley Distillers).
