Important Information

 If you are unable to book online, please call the box office on 01522 519999 between 10am and 4pm – Monday to Friday.

For Father Brown on 12th & 13th July:

Your seats shall be allocated by the venue. If you have specific access requirements, you must let us know at least 48 hours prior to the performance.

PLEASE NOTE: Drinks must be pre-ordered online at the point of purchasing your tickets. Due to Covid-19 regulations, the bar shall not be open on the evening of the performance and we are unable to take orders upon arrival.

You will be given the opportunity to select your drinks online at the point of purchasing your ticket. Your pre-ordered drinks will be served to your seat before the show begins.

Every ticket must be purchased in advance as an e-ticket or print-at-home ticket. This will allow us to let you enter the theatre more easily, minimise the amount of time you may have to queue, and reduce contact with the front of house team. Seats will be allocated in advance of the show and socially distanced from the other groups.

We will be ensuring that you have maximum flexibility by allowing tickets to be exchanged up to 24 hours prior to the performance – so if someone in your party feels ill, there’s no need to worry.

Please do not attend the venue if you

  • believe you may be infected with COVID-19;
  • have experienced symptoms in the last 14 days;
  • have been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days;
  • have arrived in England in the last 14 days and are not covered by the exemption rules relating to self-isolation; or
  • have been instructed to self-isolate.

Any individual who considers themselves to be clinically extremely vulnerable or who is in the same household or support bubble as someone who considers themselves to be clinically extremely vulnerable is advised not to attend.

New Theatre Royal, Clasketgate, Lincoln, LN2 1JJ.

Be sure to set aside more than enough time for your journey to the venue; if possible, walk or cycle at least part of the way. Please check your route if travelling by public transport as this may have recently changed.

Please keep your belongings to a minimum and with you at all times. This will assist with bag checks, and we are unable to provide cloakroom facilities.

We ask that you wear your face coverings at all times. This includes during the show performance or backstage tour, except when you are consuming your drinks. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, please make us aware in advance of your visit by emailing We also ask that you show written evidence of a medical exemption upon arrival.

We have taken seats off sale to adhere to socially distancing laws. In line with government guidelines, audiences are separated from other social bubbles.

Whilst the capacity in the auditorium has been greatly reduced, you may need to pass someone to take your seat. Please mitigate any risk by keeping your face covering on at all times. The theatre will also ask you to maintain a safe social distance around the building and when you are queuing to take your seats.

To keep you safe, we shall be cleaning our theatre before every performance and regularly disinfecting. Some routes may have changed in order to minimise your contact with others, so the helpful staff at the theatre will guide you. Please use the hand sanitiser stations when you enter and exit the theatre. Following the performance.

More information on our Covid-secure venue can be found here.

Due to Covid-19 regulations, the bar shall not be open for visits before 19th July 2021.

You will still be able to enjoy a drink, however these must be pre-ordered online at the point of purchasing your tickets. These drinks will then be served to your seats before the show begins. Please note that other refreshments such as ice-creams or sweets will not be sold for this event.

We are working with the government to ‘Track And Trace’. If you become unwell after your theatre visit, displaying COVID-19 symptoms, you will be required to inform your point of purchase.

If you have any queries, including access requesting, please email and one of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
